About

Lucky me to be one of those people who had the opportunity to turn a hobby into a career.  I started taking riding lessons when I was six years old and spent the rest of my childhood riding and competing.  My collegiate riding experience gave me lifelong friendships, the training to win a national title for my team and helped me realize that I wanted to help others have a similar experience.  Twenty years of working in the collegiate riding world afforded me the opportunity to educate through horses, develop my own system riding and coaching, as well as the chance to work with students and horses who taught me more than I could ever have imagined.

Now, I have a son who is working on his Masters in Fine Arts, family and friends that support everything I do and I live in a beautiful beach community. I teach an amazing group of clients, have the opportunity to judge horse shows across the country and work for an organization that offers competition to thousands of youth riders.  My luck continues!

With a lifelong interest in fashion and jewelry I started to realize that I couldn't always find pieces that fit in with my personal style.  Late last year, I was inspired to start making my own. Friends noticed some of my creations and encouraged me to continue learning and making more.  While out to dinner one night, two of my friends were wearing the earrings that I had made them for Christmas presents and I realized how much joy it gave me to see them happy to be wearing them.  It was that moment when everything fell into place for me.

The jewelry at Two Bay Horses Designs is designed to make the person wearing it feel more comfortable, confidant and beautiful. Handcrafted with quality gemstones and materials, the pieces are meant to be worn wherever your day takes you. Maybe they will inspire you to dream big and turn a hobby into something more.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
